The position acts as a key coordination point between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support schedule, quality, and documentation objectives. The role requires strong organizational skills, technical coordination capability, and consistent stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in dry and wet mechanical systems
  • Experience managing mechanical subcontractors on mission critical fab projects, including installation of air handlers, process cooling water, scrubbers, exhaust piping and related process equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of mission critical design documentation, with hands-on experience preparing and tracking RFIs and submittals with the Engineer of Record and tool owners.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate system testing, flushing, leak checking, and turnover, working closely with commissioning, facilities, and QA/QC teams to meet fab startup requirements.
  • Proven capability leading multi-disciplinary coordination meetings, including weekly work groups with owners, EPC/design teams, facilities, and specialty subcontractors in an active fab environment.
  • Highly organized issue-management and schedule-driven mindset, with experience developing action logs, tracking critical path issues, and driving rapid closure in cleanroom and live-fab conditions.
  • Mechanical undergraduate or graduate degree/ trade certification in mechanical trade
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractors performing installation of gas and chemical piping systems and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and construction submittals to the Engineer of Record and track responses through closure.
  • Manage contractor testing documentation and coordinate activities with commissioning and QA/QC teams.
  • Lead and facilitate weekly work group meetings with client, owner, design, and subcontractor teams.
  • Develop action item lists, track open issues, and drive items to resolution.
  • Coordinate subcontractor meetings in alignment with project managers and project schedules.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
