About The Position

We specialize in all forms of water and wastewater general contracting including Job Order Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk, Design-Bid-Build, and Design-Build throughout Arizona, Texas, Utah, and New Mexico. MGC Contractors, Inc is looking for a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join our Texas Division in the Austin area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least Three (3) years to Five (5) year of related water/wastewater industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing process equipment such as pumps, blowers, clarifiers, water filtration systems, flanged above ground piping, influent fine screens, and aeration basin systems.
• Understanding of the process of equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of different types of process piping materials and connections, PVC, Steel, SST, and DIP.
• Knowledge of forklift, scissor lift and boom lift operations.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
