Requirements

• BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 code requirements.
• Experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.
• Ability to walk down systems in the field.

• Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support services on assigned SRR Engineering Teams.
• Perform engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents including Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, System Descriptions, Mechanical Equipment Lists, Mechanical Equipment Sizing/Calculations, Piping and Valve Specifications, ASME B&PVC Design and Evaluation including Pressure Protection Design, Material Handling Equipment, and Mechanical Procurement Requirements/Specifications/Data Sheets including Vendor Document Reviews.
• Travel off Site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other Engineering organizations as required.
• Provide Engineering Services using SRR processes and procedures.
