About The Position

As a Mechanical Process Engineer , you will be provide mechanical equipment design and engineering support to allow the organization to accomplish its production objectives & goals. Work within a team other skilled technicians and engineers to continuously improve and enable manufacturing systems to achieve production objectives. Spearhead innovative solutions and bring forth resources both internal and external to get projects completed on time and on This work has to be done in compliance with ISO 9000, AS9100B, EPD, OSHA, Federal, State, and Local standards, and regulations. Initiate and manage capital projects from $3k-$50K.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (ABET accredited).
  • 0-3 years of experience (internships or co-ops in a manufacturing environment required).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and basic AutoCAD skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Process Monitoring: Monitor manufacturing process equipment and data (yields, cycle times, downtime) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve daily production issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing projects (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to enhance productivity.
  • Documentation: Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and process flow diagrams.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to safety standards (OSHA) and environmental regulations.
