The position involves working closely with the Rubber Engineering Team to develop processing procedures and parameters for both new and existing materials. The role requires acting as a technical liaison between the rubber group, customers, and maintenance teams. The individual will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational challenges using effective problem-solving techniques. Additionally, the position entails establishing process flows and timelines for new product launches, creating standards for operational procedures, and supporting the GROWTTH program. The role also includes reviewing current production processes for improvements in tooling and operations, monitoring non-conforming rates, and reducing non-value-added operations. The individual will maintain positive communication among team members across all shifts, improve daily production requirements, collaborate with customer engineering on sample production, provide technical support and training for production staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations.

  • Develop processing procedures and parameters for new and existing materials.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the rubber or polymer industry.
  • Proven experience in developing processing procedures and parameters for new and existing materials.
  • Experience in acting as a technical liaison between engineering teams, customers, and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-centric approach, anticipating and meeting internal/external customers' needs and expectations.
  • Ability to drive and support innovative ideas, taking informed risks to develop new or improved solutions.
