About The Position

The Mechanical Piping Superintendent will oversee mechanical piping projects in hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial and institutional settings. This role emphasizes teamwork and long-term commitment to the company's success, with a focus on employee ownership and professional development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Heavy Industrial and Institutional Construction.
• Background in mechanical process piping, advanced process piping, and HVAC systems.
• Experience supervising craft in a self-perform environment.
• Past project size should exceed $5 million.
• Demonstrated capability for monitoring production and controlling costs.
• Familiarity with management controls during project execution.
• Past personal experience as a crafts person in the mechanical trades is an advantage.
• OSHA 30 hour certification required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

• Previous professional licensing in mechanical trades is a plus.
• Stable work history and good verbal and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft in a self-perform environment.
• Monitor production and control costs on projects.
• Manage project execution including schedules, cost control, procurement, and quality/safety.
• Ensure adherence to company ethics and professionalism in all duties.
• Prioritize tasks and work independently as needed.
