About The Position

Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leader in the Design-Build construction industry, delivering complex commercial and government projects across the United States. We specialize in fast-track construction with a strong focus on the Department of Defense (DoD) market.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping General Superintendent based in the Jacksonville, FL area to support mission-critical military construction projects across the Southeast. This role will require regular regional travel to active project sites.
Many of our projects involve large-scale, technically complex infrastructure that directly supports the readiness and mission capability of the U.S. military. This role is ideal for leaders who enjoy building complex systems in challenging environments and who take pride in contributing to infrastructure that supports the mission of the U.S. military.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a Piping Superintendent or Superintendent on government, military, or large commercial construction projects.
• 4+ years of trade experience as a journey-level mechanical pipefitter.
• Experience with hydronic piping systems, underground utilities, boilers/chillers, and project closeout.
• OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and EM-385 (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Southeast to support active project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for mechanical and hydronic piping installations on large commercial and DoD construction projects.
• Coordinate field crews and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work on aggressive project schedules.
• Work closely with project leadership to manage installation, materials, and field execution across complex project sites.
• Identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
