We specialize in all forms of water and wastewater general contracting including Job Order Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk, Design-Bid-Build, and Design-Build throughout Arizona, Texas, Utah, and New Mexico. MGC Contractors, Inc is looking for a Mechanical Pipefitter to join our Utah Division in the Provo area.

Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications
Have the ability to lay out large and small diameter mechanical piping, and equipment such as Clarifier, Filters, Chemical Rooms, Aeration Basin System, Influent Fine Screens, and Pumps.
Help monitor safety for all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
Help the Project Superintendent monitor project labor.
Understanding the process of equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
Knowledge of different types of process piping materials and connections, PVC, Steel, SST, and DIP.
Knowledge of forklift, scissor lift and boom lift operations.
Any and all other duties assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least Five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects required.
