Key Responsibilities Perform engineering design and development activities for existing product lines, product line extensions, and new product initiatives. Develop innovative concepts and engineered solutions that achieve defined performance, reliability, and cost objectives. Prepare or oversee the preparation of detailed layouts, CAD models, engineering drawings, documentation, and specifications in accordance with applicable standards. Analyze design requirements, propose engineering solutions, and evaluate design alternatives for effectiveness and manufacturability. Define, plan, and conduct component and system-level testing; interpret and evaluate test results to validate designs and ensure compliance with requirements. Recommend and implement design improvements to enhance product performance, reliability, or cost-efficiency. Collaborate with customers to define application requirements and provide tailored recommendations, proactive user support and troubleshooting. Develop and implement specialized test systems to support and validate customer specific requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, sales, and product management teams to support product launches, training, process improvements, and customer-specific applications. Provide technical support during production, troubleshooting, and product lifecycle management activities.
