About The Position

Mechanical Manufacturing Technician — Equipment Diagnostics & Assembly Based in Auburn, AL, you’ll be the go-to problem solver on the production floor—keeping equipment running smoothly, building mechanical assemblies, and pitching in across warehouse operations to keep everything moving. A day in the role You arrive, review the production plan, and walk the line. A machine shows signs of wear—your troubleshooting isolates the issue, you make the repair, and document the fix. Later, you assist with assembling mechanical components, then help the team tidy and organize the workspace to meet safety and 5S expectations. Before you wrap, you coordinate with teammates to streamline a process and update maintenance records. You may also support inventory counts and material movements in the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Hands-on experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills and tool proficiency.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and with a team.
  • Sharp problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
