We’re looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join our CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for process stability and capability, driving improvements that keep our operations world-class.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • 3+ years industry experience (excluding internships).
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on leadership with ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with CNC machines and G code.

Nice To Haves

  • Statistical analysis tools (JMP, Minitab), SAP knowledge.
  • Familiarity with CMP technologies or semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own process health for assigned mechanical equipment modules using Statistically Process Control, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and restore stability to meet customer expectations.
  • Lead variation reduction and yield improvement initiatives, collaborating globally with sites in Taiwan and Korea.
  • Support 24/7 operations and provide on-call technical expertise.
  • Drive quality investigations, resolve customer complaints, and implement improvements.
  • Champion safety standards and process hazard management.
  • Partner with technology teams to scale up new products and optimize equipment performance.
  • Coach operators and mechanics on best practices for process capability.
