Opportunity Summary The Mechanical Maintenance Technician supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a biomass power generation facility. This role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment, with emphasis on biomass systems such as fuel conveyors, wood-fired boilers, ash handling systems, and steam turbines. The technician uses a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, track trends, and support data-driven planning. They help ensure system reliability during normal operations and outages, often working with operations staff and contractors to meet safety and quality standards.
