Requirements

  • Mechanical Systems Knowledge: Understanding of machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Proficiency in developing and executing maintenance schedules.
  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Skill in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics.
  • Hands-On Skills: Experience with hand and power tools for repairs.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in machinery.
  • Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS): Ability to use CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly to prevent production interruptions.
  • Repairs: Repair or replace faulty mechanical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with electrical maintenance teams and production staff to coordinate maintenance efforts.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
