We are looking for a student intern at our Maryneal, TX plant who want to become part of the solution, help us continue providing quality products, and grow our talent and leader pool.
Responsibilities
- Support the plant in ensuring that the equipment operates efficiently to maximize production rates and minimize fuel and power consumption.
- Support the plant and maintenance department on strategies for reliability and planning.
- Work with the maintenance department on all critical jobs/repairs.
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis.
- Assist with daily work planning and scheduling.
- Assist with work scopes and bid packages to solicit quotes for plant projects.
- Learn the process flow of cement manufacturing from quarry to shipping.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter and inquisitive by nature
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, Project, VISO
- Solid reasoning, analytical, technical and communication skills
- Must possess excellent work ethic
- Must be able to multi-task
Benefits
- Paid - $30.00 per hour plus monthly housing stipend
