About The Position

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for Luling, LA to ensure the reliability, integrity & safe operation of mechanical equipment in a chemical production unit; provide proactive maintenance strategies, troubleshoot mechanical failures, & optimize asset performance to minimize downtime & enhance plant efficiency; provide technical assistance & engineering support for daily maintenance activities; ensure capital investments in equipment are well-planned, cost-effective, & aligned with plant needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering field.
• 1 year of experience in a mechanical engineering position working in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Experience working with Emerson APM asset performance software.
• Experience working with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module & SAP GUI scripting.
• Experience working with Prometheus Planning & Scheduling.
• Experience using Autodesk Vault and/or BIM360 for document management.
• Experience using AMS Machineworks for vibration monitoring.
• Experience utilizing PowerBI and/or Google Big Query to develop metrics for Preventive Maintenance Compliance & work order closures.
• Experience using Python and/or Jupyter for reporting & data analysis.
• Experience working with Krauss-Maffei Centrifuges for ensuring equipment reliability for separation of product from mother liquor.
• Ability to review & interpret ASME, NFPA, and/or other industry standards for equipment maintenance and/or installation.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Plant3D for creating & editing Engineering Flow Diagrams (EFDs) & Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
