The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $34,000-$64,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role: As a Mechanical Installation Technician at Dematic Corp., you will: Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration. Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision. Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron). Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans. Collaborate with electrical and controls teams during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure seamless integration. Conduct detailed mechanical pre-start checks and operational testing, assisting in troubleshooting any mechanical faults that arise. Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain accurate installation records, inspection reports, and test documentation to support project completion. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition. Successful Candidates Will Have: A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is preferred. Some computer experience, with basic skills in emailing, spreadsheet input, and report input. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Requirements
