As the Mechanical Source Inspector, you act on behalf of Verify's customer and will be response to ensure compliance of product during in process and final inspections. As the dedicated inspector you will be trained on customer processes and requirements to ensure all standards/specifications are followed while supporting reporting and communication to all stakeholders on issues/non-conformances...etc. Job Description: The quality inspector shall support on-site at single or multiple supplier facilities to perform documentation, visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies. Validate all product and paperwork compliant to including but not limited to: engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications. Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications Perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques Report via operating systems for Customer and Verify while communicating any non-conformance while providing reject or rework disposition. Must be willing to utilize personal laptop to complete customer inspection records within SAP platform and Verify's reporting platform. Candidate must posses at least 5 years experience with: Inspection of tight tolerances Complex assemblies, Large Mill Turn Parts Special Processes Welding (certification is not required, but preferred) Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required, including complete review of technical data package for full traceability of documents. Experience using various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
