The salary range for this position is $33.22-51.49/hour. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a starting pay between $33.22-42.35/hour, based on experience and education. Inspectors start in office for about 1.5 hours (office is located at the Wellington Webb Building, located at 201 W Colfax Ave. Denver, CO 80202). After that, you will be out in the field completing inspections for the rest of the day. You are required to use your own vehicle. This selected candidate will perform on-site inspections for the installation and operations of new and existing boiler, refrigeration, heating and ventilation systems in all classes and occupancies of buildings to ensure and enforce compliance of Denver Building Code and Amendments related to the International Mechanical Code, International Residential Building Code, International Fuel and Gas Code, International Energy Conservation Code and Amendments to these codes.
