Requirements

Qualified candidate will have or be able to:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivilent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of mechnical engineering fundamentals, including structures, mechanisms, material properties & selection, and analysis techniques.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical design/or manufacturing, including interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with CAD tools (CREO, Solidworks, etc...) and experience with model-based defintion.
- Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards and its application in design and drafting.
- Holding or the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance. US Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

The Mechanical Engineer will lead design efforts and formal design reviews, and equipment verification for mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE), including handling, lifting, testing, assembly, and transportation of mechanical, electrical, and RF components.
