About The Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman who will be working in industrial plant settings for installation. nationwide.

Requirements

• 10 years of welding experience
• Knowledge of multiple welding procedures required, welding experience a plus
• Millwright / rigging experience
• Prior experience supervising employees in the field
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Experience working in industrial manufacturing plant environments
• Excellent communication and interface skills
• Must be able to safely operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment
• Walking/Standing/Climbing/Bending in an industrial plant.
• Ability to work a 10-hour shift in an industrial environment.
• Must be capable of walking the distance from parking lot to designated job area (may be 1 mile+), in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of equipment in industrial plants.
• Types of equipment may include conveyors, packaging equipment, piping, etc
• Supervise and coordinate activities of multiple personnel, including welders, fabricators and installers.
• Train new and existing employees
• Will have frequent interaction with customers and plant personnel
