The expected annual salary range for this role is $53253.0 - $78104.4 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in engineering or similar technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) months of experience using Autocad (2d or 3d) or similar modeling tools

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in engineering, drafting & design, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
  • One (1) year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • An understanding of math, physics, chemistry, and machine design theory

Responsibilities

  • Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) develop schematics, wiring diagrams, motions, clearances and other involved features of an apparatus or customer equipment design.
  • Calculate fits, tolerances, strengths, weights electrical, circuit parameters and similar items.
  • Anticipate manufacturing and/or customer requirement and problems and develop design solutions.
  • Coordinate the drafting work and be responsible for all drawings pertinent to design of customer order project.
  • Consult with engineers or higher classified personnel on problems relating to a design or customer order project.
  • Fabricate more complex (model) prototypes; set up more complex laboratory tests or experiments requiring some ingenuity.
  • Gather review and interpret data for presentation to engineers or managers; check work to assure conformance with quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot in order to resolve customer and manufacturing problems; data gathering in order to provide solutions.
  • Complete other assignments and projects as assigned.
