Description: Work with a technical planning team to support the planning and installation of equipment and structure as required for new model integration, refurbishment, and continuous improvement projects. Projects will range from small upgrade and improvement projects (change management) to new model projects. Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization and scanning, CAD, simulations, programming, etc. The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: Support planning and installation topics. Manage contractors to maintain schedule. Technical verification of installation. Creation of bid documents. Develop scope of work for mechanical or controls projects. Small projects they can lead. Work with team to develop larger scope projects (new model). Support with managing contractors and oversee installation. Small support projects for innovation and manufacturing improvements.
