Lockheed Martin's Mechanical Products Talent Center is looking for a dynamic and industrious Mechanical Engineering Manager to support Mechanical Services. As the Mechanical Engineering Manager you will lead a Mechanical Engineering team supporting Enterprise solutions for Design, Verification and digital transformation. Leadership duties include technical direction, planning, tools, training, and staffing. Manage Mechanical resources during Program life cycles Develop vision and support the success of Mechanical Products, incorporating LM Space E&T strategies for continuous digital transformation Provide inputs and ensure compliance with program standards Provide hardware documentation compliant with customer requirements, Space Command Media and LM Space Best Practices Encourage open communication, customer satisfaction, and timely program status updates Engage with teams to ensure Common Products, Standardization & Optimization is part of Product Strategy and Road Mapping Ensure staffing tool (e.g. VEMO) is accurate and staffed in a timely and responsive manner Some travel is required You can learn more about Denver, CO by visiting this link. Requirements

  • Spacecraft Design and/or Analysis related experience
  • Experience with MCAD Tools and Processes
  • Experience supporting digital transformation across an organization
  • Active or Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret; US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Thorough knowledge of aerospace structures hardware, knowledgeable in multiple mechanical systems (ex. flight, ground, packaging, verification, or mechanisms)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Training planning and critical skills experience with an understanding of continuous improvement concepts
  • Organizational growth and recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide range of partners
  • Active or Current Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Manage Mechanical resources during Program life cycles
