What Drives Success Under general supervision, assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 2 years related experience.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engeneering Technology, HVAC or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions
- Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies
- Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data
- Helps prepare proposals, cost estimates and work load
- Assist in establishing completion dates.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
- Take ownership of individual tasks and meet project deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new tools and systems.
