The Eberhard Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering team is seeking 3 full-time interns for our facility in Strongsville, OH. This internship is for the Summer of 2025 (May/June - August/September). This assignment is intended to provide additional opportunity to experience mechanical engineering activities and responsibilities while also contributing to the business goals of the company.

Requirements

  • A Junior or Senior with good standing in an engineering-focused degree program.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to interact within a cross-functional team.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work on and complete a project with moderate direction and guidance.
  • Must have the ability to adjust to changing demands, priorities, and objectives.
  • Candidate must possess the ability and eagerness to be hands-on and help move projects along.
  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CAD (Autodesk Inventor) experience required along with strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assignments may include process and product development for new products or process improvements/cost reduction projects for existing processes.
  • Project tools include continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing processes involved in project work may include stamping, forming, welding, prototyping, tooling, and testing.
  • Interaction with business processes may include design/drafting, materials, purchasing, production control, quality, and safety.
  • Program guidance will be given under the Engineering Group.
