Under close supervision, the Mechanical Engineering Intern will assist on the implementation and maintenance of electrical power circuits, equipment, control and automation systems, including electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. This position involves various upkeep and maintenance duties such as cleaning the working area, picking up tools, sweeping floors, emptying trash cans, and other housekeeping chores. Duties may also include assisting other shop personnel, running parts and supplies from the warehouse to the shop floor, and general assembly work that may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools. The intern will report directly to the New Technology Implementation Manager.
