Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET recognized program.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a team environment.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and understanding of the Enchanted Rock generators, with a strong focus on mechanical design, IC engine design and performance.
  • Implement engineering change requests in SolidWorks 3D and 2D drawing under guidance from senior team members.
  • Measurement and/or inspection of parts for root-cause- analysis (RCA) studies.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing, testing, inspection, and performance evaluation/ diagnostics under guidance from senior team members.
  • Data gathering and analysis of IC engine and generator performance under guidance from senior team members.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding component specifications and design.
  • Understand cross-functionality between teams in the organization.
  • Attention to safety and its critical importance in the work environment.
  • Other tasks as identified by senior team members.
