Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern for their world class Hot Box Engineering team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027

Nice To Haves

  • CAD modeling experience (Solidworks preferred)
  • Understanding of engineering principles
  • Understanding of heat transfer and fluid mechanics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong GD&T Fundamentals
  • Experience in sheet metal forming
  • Experience in brazing

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Solidworks CAD models, drawings and assemblies
  • Control drawing and model releases through an Engineering Change Notice process
  • Collect and analyze test data and prepare reports explaining the results
