About The Position

As a Hallam-ICS intern, you will work with experienced engineers in the design of mechanical systems for complex facilities, both large and small projects. With a focus on Dust Hazard Analyses, you will be working with engineers as they identify and mitigate combustible dust hazards in various facilities. You will also be exposed to the design practices and standards required to develop energy efficient, reliable, code compliant buildings and process systems. It is anticipated there may be a mix of remote/ in office work with some site visits to local projects in different phases of construction. As an Intern, you will perform a variety of tasks, ranging from document management, design drawing using AutoCAD and Revit, calculations using spreadsheet software, product research and other activities while gaining exposure to different aspects of the engineering process.

• Familiarity with computer-aided design/drafting tools desired.
