About The Position

You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving to perform mechanical design and development activities. You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions. The PCAS organization provides ample opportunities for hands-on hardware work. PCAS engineers are exposed to a variety of lab activities including engineering builds, hardware integration, and hardware verification. The PCAS organization provides a strong technical learning environment with a dedicated technology pyramid comprised of engineering fellows. PCAS engineers are provided the opportunity for direct access to these subject matter experts, fostering accelerated technical growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Experience with CREO
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related (STEM)
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical design, engineering, and analysis
  • Experience with manufacturing methods and processes, including machining, casting, forging, welding, and bonding
  • Experience with mechanical drawing practices, dimensioning, and tolerancing
