About The Position

This summer internship position supports the research and development of Mechanical and/or ElectroMechanical parts and assemblies at Lockheed Martin. The intern will work under general direction, contributing to the development of approaches and solutions while gaining practical experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college.
• General understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance (Secret level).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with defense work.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software, specifically PTC Creo.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
