About The Position

The Mechanical Engineering Co-Op position at Arconic provides students with the opportunity to apply their education to real-world complexities through hands-on learning. Co-ops will work alongside professionals in their field, gaining invaluable experience that can be utilized in any role. The program requires students to spend two semesters in a full-time capacity at one of Arconic's locations, preferably alternating between education and employment. Co-op associates will be assigned a manager and a mentor for each rotation, working in both office and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities include assisting with maintenance, repairs, project planning, and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of engineering coursework completed.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations and/or ITAR.

Nice To Haves

  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
