In this role, you will design, build, and operate integrated test labs for one of the world's first FAA certified eVTOL aircraft. You will collaborate with subsystem stakeholders to develop mechanical test equipment requirements and design test rigs and test benches for hardware integration test labs. Your responsibilities will include selecting commercially available components for lab builds, completing handbook calculations to verify the margins of safety of your designs, and managing the CAD library of test equipment in Team Center. Additionally, you will manage external suppliers to procure lab components and/or manufacture Archer-designed test equipment, overseeing fabrication through final buy-off. You will also aid technicians in the installation and check-out of test equipment to ensure proper function as designed.
