About The Position

The role involves designing and developing innovative solutions for continuous improvement within the engineering team. The successful candidate will determine project scope and design or acquire the necessary materials for implementation. They will also provide technical support for maintenance and operations, aiding in troubleshooting systems, and will work closely with the engineering team on larger capital projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering OR equivalent work experience as an engineering technician.
• 2+ years of experience OR 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven computer platform experience.
• Strong field experience with a focus on troubleshooting and hands-on approach.

Nice To Haves

• Strong working knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Circuit Design.
• Experience with machine design using electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
• Determining project scope and designing/acquiring necessary materials for implementation.
• Providing technical support for maintenance and operations and aiding in troubleshooting systems.
• Working with the engineering team on larger capital projects.
• Developing and/or improving production and maintenance methods and processes.
• Aiding maintenance in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Managing contractors as required for project completion.
• Maintaining budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and reporting regularly to the project manager.
