About The Position

As a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting edge solutions to our valued customers. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Mechanical Engineering Design Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill Software Engineering background in the Undersea Domain

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUV) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts
Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production
