You will be a member of our Standard Plants Solutions (SPS) - Mechanical and Machinery Engineering Team and perform work supporting Bid and Project Development, Project Execution, and Product Development. Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience is required.
Knowledge of pressure vessels, piping, valve selection, and ASME Section VIII and ASME B31.3 Piping Codes are required.
Expected travel, approximately 10%, is based on business needs.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

Support of Prism Hydrogen Generators (PHG), O2 Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA), N2 Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), Cryogenic Nitrogen Generators (HPN), and H2 PSA Product Lines.
Piping Class Material Specification development and specification of in-line components such as manual valves, relief valves, strainers, silencers, and piping insulation.
Review Customer requirements and modify product design as required.
Create vendor document requirement lists and review vendor documentation for specified components.
Review Air Products piping and vessel design for compliance with ASME and International Codes (ASME BPV, Section VIII; ASME B31.3).
Use Compress Software to verify vendor vessel design.
Mechanical review of Piping and Instrumentation diagrams and selecting appropriate piping material specifications.
Support Operations and Maintenance, as required, on operating issues, repairs, and/or modifications to existing equipment and plants.
Participate in or support startup and commissioning and shop checkout of plant equipment, including on-site or remote support, development of checkout procedures, and follow-up on punch list items.
