Our Mechanical Engineer is responsible for performing a wide range of complex mechanical engineering functions related to the design, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. This individual will provide project solutions, estimates and designs on complex projects relative to budget, performance, and schedule. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field from a four-year college or university.   • Interprets scope and project requirements and develops design alternatives.
  • Works on complex assignments and exercises judgement and initiative to solve problems and make sound recommendations.
  • Performs engineering calculations as required to support mechanical design work.

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field from a four-year college or university.
  • A valid insurable Driver's License is required
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software on Microsoft systems and programs. Ability to generate system layout for proposal and projects in 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Ability to navigate automation/control system integration projects across a variety of industries and applications.
  • Skills with SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software required.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit.
