About The Position

Balanced Body is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team! As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll collaborate with the Engineering team, gaining valuable insight into design work using SolidWorks, as well as testing, troubleshooting engineering production challenges, and much more.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related position
• Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software
• Proficiency in mechanical design drafting practices, including full compliance with ASME Standard Y14.5 and relevant GD&T standards
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) suite of software
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings using Solid Works Software
• Support testing and validation of prototypes
• Tool, jig and fixture to design to support production continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain documentation of assembly processes
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem solving discussions
• Support the troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical issues in production
• Train production in new product builds
