Role Overview Develop and implement mechanical design solutions based on defined requirements such as functionality, aesthetics, volume, geometry, cost targets, quality standards, and regulatory constraints. Take responsibility for coordinating and guiding mechanical engineering work within a designated technical area, ensuring timely and high-quality execution. Actively contribute to project delivery by consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders, verifying technical integrity, and confirming readiness prior to release. Ensure that proposed designs align with business objectives and performance expectations. Contribute to product and system development plans by providing technical expertise and forward-looking insights. Establish and maintain collaboration with universities and external research institutions to strengthen competence within the assigned technical domain. Support innovation initiatives and participate in business development activities. Build and maintain strong cross-functional networks across the organization. Leverage historical component knowledge to inform project prerequisites and technical decisions.
