Mechanical Engineer (Senior-Level) Required Skills and Qualifications: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States. 5 or more years of related experience. Experience in developing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), designing chilled water systems, performing pipe sizing calculations, and preparing equipment specifications and procurement documents for waste processing, nuclear, refinery, power, or chemical process facilities. Experience developing custom equipment packages, including skid-mounted systems and specialty items such as security doors. Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) projects and with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs). Experience working under quality assurance programs such as ASME NQA-1 or AS9100D. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
