As part of our Engineering team, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals across sales, production, and purchasing to design and deliver high-performance mechanical and electromechanical systems. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR Five or more years of related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering specifications
- Proficiency in CAD design and mechanical system development
- Experience creating BOMs, assembly documentation, and test procedures
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and implement solutions
- Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing plant environments
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical and electromechanical systems including industrial production equipment, steam systems, machine tools, and material handling systems
- Develop detailed CAD models, assembly drawings, and alternative design concepts using tools such as Inventor and other CAD platforms
- Create piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow diagrams
- Write clear functional descriptions to communicate equipment and process operations internally and externally
- Research and analyze customer specifications and design proposals to determine feasibility
- Develop bills of materials (BOMs) and complete assembly packages for production
- Coordinate fabrication, installation, testing, and repair activities to ensure systems meet design and customer specifications
- Support Sales with technical expertise and quotation assistance
- Participate in field startups, evaluate installations, and recommend design improvements
- Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S, and continuous improvement efforts
