About The Position

Mechanical Engineer Location: Quincy, MA 02169 Required: Secret Clearance W2 Hourly Long-Term Contract to hire $55.00 - $63.75 per hour with limited benefits No C2C, No 1099, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED Are you a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software? Do you have knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts? Are you looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for you!

Requirements

• Secret Clearance
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Mechanical Engineering Design
• Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software
• Engineering background in the Undersea Domain

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts
• Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
