About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity to design HVAC systems in Charlotte, NC. Salary : $135k+ (may vary depending on capability/experience) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits- 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, PTO etc Schedule: There is one mandatory day in the office each week, which is Wednesdays – all other days are optional for in office.

Requirements

Five (5) Plus years of experience in design of HVAC systems for commercial buildings
Knowledge in the design and construction of hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, and steam) and building automation systems is required.
Experience using AutoCad and Revit is required.

Nice To Haves

Hospital and other healthcare experiences are a plus.
Experience using Trace 700 for building cooling loads is a plus
Experience using Trace 700 also for energy models is an additional plus.

Responsibilities

Designing and the construction of hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, and steam)
Building of automation systems
Meeting and communicating with clients
Conducting site inspections.
Other duties as assigned
