About The Position

AECOM's Mechanical Engineering group is seeking a dynamic, talented Mechanical Engineer for immediate employment to be based out of our Philadelphia, PA location. Leads design efforts of the mechanical systems from concept through construction across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation. Collaborates with architects, engineers, vendors and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget. Prepares and deliver high-quality drawings (AutoCAD and Revit), construction documents, specifications, reports and help in cost estimates. Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards and client requirements. Performs quality control review of design calculations and drawings. Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Mentor junior engineers. Conducts site visits to document and evaluate mechanical systems.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • AutoCAD and Revit professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of related mechanical engineering experience.
  • Experience as a lead engineer on project design, especially in transportation projects.
