Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a closely related field, providing foundational knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
  • Experience in thermal and mechanical design and analysis within research and development environments, focusing on hardware innovation and product development.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering is highly recommended to validate technical competence and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements solutions to meet performance and reliability requirements from concept through product release.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance hardware designs.
  • Responsible for the design, development, testing and documenting of a system, subsystem, or a component as part of an overall architecture.
  • Ensure that engineering solutions are practical, efficient, and aligned with project goals and industry standards.
  • Applies the latest technology and research findings/results into engineering designs solutions and design rules.
  • Designs, realizes, tests (sub-) systems or components based on design requirements and produces specs for the product and propositions.
  • Drives IP creation and protection (Patents, Trade secrets, Copyrights).
