As a member of Mechanical Engineering Group, the Mechanical Engineer you will have your hands in many ongoing projects and day to day tasks.  In this role, you will apply your knowledge of Mechanical Engineering towards:   

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks part creation, drawings, and large assemblies
  • Knowledge of drafting and design standards (ANSI Y14.5 GD & T)
  • Understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing (DFA and DFM principles)
  • Knowledge of measurement systems and techniques
  • Strong ability to communicate
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
  • Ability to manage their time
  • Positive attitude
  • Enjoys hands on approach toward engineering

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in assembly and validation of Engineering prototypes
  • Executing lifecycle testing on equipment in the lab
  • Use SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, drawings, and FEA simulations. Create assembly level BoMs and release these items on ECNs
  • Participate in team meetings, and present quantitative and qualitative findings in an organized and professional manner
  • Assisting with thermal testing and simulations
