As an Entry-level Mechanical Engineer at NTT Global Data Centers Americas, you will be a valuable member of the Technical Operations team, supporting the mechanical infrastructure in data center facilities. In this role, you will assist in providing mechanical engineering support to ensure efficient and reliable operations. You may also work on hardware design and control sequence programming for mechanical infrastructure equipment controls. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and contribute to the success of data center operations. Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and thermodynamics.
  • Familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
  • Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or hands-on experience in mechanical engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing mechanical engineering support for the data center facilities.
  • Work on hardware design and control sequence programming for mechanical infrastructure equipment controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
  • Participate in hardware troubleshooting and repairs to maintain critical infrastructure operations.
  • Contribute to the documentation of engineering activities, preparing reports, and providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering.
