The Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the discipline at a project level and managing the project discipline budget on simple to complex projects of all sizes. The Lead Engineer has a thorough understanding of the development and field implementation of documents through all project phases. The Lead Mechanical Engineer possesses the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties, manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of others. The Lead Mechanical Engineer may work independently or at the direction of the Project Manager. The Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible for directing and managing the workflows and execution of design and engineering support staff (Entry-Level to Senior) to meet client expectation and project goals. The Senior Mechanical Engineer has a thorough understanding of the development and field implementation of documents through all project phases, sizes, and levels of complexity. The Senior Mechanical Engineer possesses the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties, manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of others. The Senior Mechanical Engineer shall be able to act as the mechanical point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, and pre-con services for their scope areas, be able to complete a complex project code analysis, plan and prepare bid/permit/construction deliverables (including details and specifications), and understand the technical and design aspects of CRB’s market areas.
