About The Position

Chatsworth Products (CPI) is seeking talented Mechanical Engineering Students who can work alongside our Engineering team to improve our products and support our manufacturing team. This is a full-time CO-OP/Internship located at our Georgetown, TX facility. This opportunity is only available to students who can work both Summer and Fall semesters. As a CPI Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects, and secures the world's digital technology. This role will include designing, releasing, and seeing your designs manufactured. We are looking for talent with ambition, initiative, and drive to be self-sufficient.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program
• Ability to work both Summer and Fall semesters
• High level of skill, knowledge, and ability in assigned functional area

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and testing of new products
• Development and release of custom solutions
• CAD modeling, drawing, and assembly using SolidWorks
