Job Purpose: The Mechanical Engineer Intern at Wanner Engineering will support engineering teams in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems. This role is intended to provide practical experience and exposure to real-world engineering challenges, fostering the intern's development and growth in the field of mechanical engineering.

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure quality and performance standards.
  • Support the engineering team in maintaining project schedules and deliverables.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Previous internship or project experience in mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar is advantageous.
